Move over funky logo water bottles, the custom Growlers are moving in.
Every year newer hipper water bottles make their way to the promo stage and this year is no exception. Before I get to water bottles though, I wanted to show you a new promotional trend that I'm seeing - Branded Growlers. People can pop into their favorite filling station or home-craft pub fill up and chill at home or take their favorite brew to the neighborhood picnic.
Growlers are simply a jug that carries fresh beer. They go back to the late 1800's. Beer lovers would transport their best loved beer in an open pail or they'd hire a bucket boy to deliver the beer to their home. When the beer sloshed around it made a rumbling sound, and there you have it - the growler was born.
Now we have growler filling stations and growler bars for people looking for that fresh craft beer to go.
So let's take a peek at a few different style customized Growlers.
We have the Belgian Growler
2 liter amber color with a metal handle. I like the sealable top.
Here is a 1/2 gallon amber Growler with a screw top lid and the bottle is deep etched and hand painted
Stainless steer Growler, this holds 64 ounces and comes in copper and silver too.
The flask style below has a nice look. Not bulky, not glass, holds 40 ounces and keeps your sudz cold.
I think this one is my fave - goes back to my younger days A customized Growler that looks like a little keg. It comes with a screw top lid and if you drop it, no worries.
Look how cute it is
Of course there are Growler accessories that can be customized too:
A Growler cover that can hold four color process and is made of a wet suit like material. Protects and keeps it cold.
Even a simple Growler custom Koozie can do the trick. Or maybe you need something heftier
100 Growlers of beer on the wall....one hundred Growlers of beer....
